OutofPocket.com is a directory of health care services and prices to help consumers comparison shop and find the best value for routine health care services including MRIs, x-rays, mammograms, vaccinations, office visits, lab tests, dental/vision services and many other services.
We are inviting providers across the United States (hospitals, clinics, physician offices, labs, and diagnostic testing facilities) to list their services and prices in our directory. There is no fee for listing your services. All revenue to support the website is collected from online advertising -- not provider fees. Our pricing directory supports specific price/service, or a low-high range price/service. In addition to services and prices, you are also invited to list additional information about your services and facility in our directory.

Prices in our directory are collected from several sources:
- Consumer Generated Content: Consumers anonymously post prices they paid for routine health care services, (including MRIs, mammograms, X-rays, lab tests, vaccinations, dental, vision and office visits), along with their personal recommendations on the provider
- Providers Service/Price Lists: Providers are invited to submit prices for their services for inclusion in the directory
- Government CMS: Medicare payment data for common medical procedures was loaded in the directory
