OutOfPocket.com is a web site for consumers to collaborate and share their own actual out-of-pocket costs for common health care services with other consumers. Our goal is to take the secrecy out of health care pricing by making it possible for consumers to share actual health care prices for common services. We believe consumers should know exactly what they will be paying up front for health care services – before the service is performed.
Registration is not required to search the directory. If you choose to share your own health care experiences and out of pocket costs, we do require you to register. We intentionally collect very little personal information, (e-mail address, zip code and year of birth) when you register at OutOfPocket.com. We respect your confidentiality and want to encourage you to feel comfortable sharing your own out of pocket costs with other consumers ---without having to reveal personal information about yourself. We strongly believe in the right to privacy, and we will not sell, distribute or abuse your personal information. We do not intentionally allow consumers who are under the age of 18 to register and we do not collect any information from any person we know to be under the age of 18.
As you navigate the OutOfPocket.com website, certain information may also be collected, including your Internet protocol address, browser type, domain names, access times, and operating system.
